An American Holiday in the Philippines, it doesn't get any better than that for Filipinos as they love American culture. Fields Avenue is no longer hunting shadows of foreign punters hustling from one bar to another while searching for happy hour offers, business appointments and cultural show dances. On Halloween Eve Fields Avenue belongs to Filipinos who showcase their Halloween costumes on the streets. Fields is crowded like on no other day of the year. Groups of bargirls roam around the street to showoff scary outfits and they still look so lovely. It's a fantastic moment for those who want to meet bargirls from watering holes they have failed to visit as they may have barfined or been drunk to early. Walking from McArthur Highway to Checkpoint is very entertaining.
People that like nightclubs packed to capacity during busy hours Sharks was used to be one of the places to frequent. The mood was always happy while not very intimate. Many gorgeous dancers were used to perform on stage. Sharks bar closed in 2012 and reopened as Q-Bar. Hold on for new images of Q-Bar during one of our next updates.
It must be one of the longest running bars on Fields Avenue. Owl's nest is one of the watering holes preferred by cheap charlies. The nest is inexpensive, calm and not crowded. It's great to play some rounds of pool without being disturbed. Their bar serves all known beverages from cold beers to strawberry milk and B52 shooters. Let's talk about dancers. Normally, this place feels under-staffed when it comes to dancers. The long dancing stage stretches around the bar. It makes this hole in the wall appear much bigger than it is, actually. As in most bars your level of satisfaction strongly depends on your timing. Owl's Nest is best when visited early in the evening.
For many years the strongest going bar of the Champagne group. Legendary papasan Peter from Germany used to run this joint until he died from a heart attack in 2012. It was his idea to make it an afternoon to late night bar, but in 2014 it's opening late at 7 pm and remains a strong hold late at night. These days it's been renovated with it's seating area being expanded slightly. The old intimacy is fading, but Brown Sugar bar is still one of the bright spots during late hours. It's waitresses have always been admired as the most attractive service personell of Angeles City bars.
Tourists visiting Angeles City live dangerously. There have been various reports about raids being conducted in bars from 2013 to 2014. Unlike previously, law enforcement is no longer detaining bargirls and managers, but also visitors and innocent bystanders. People filming or photographing raids from public ground have been facing arrest as well. Some have had their cameras being taken without their property being returned. It's become very unsafe for tourists to visit and journalists are facing difficulties to do their job. Maybe, it's best to scrap Angeles City from travel plans until local and national authorities figure out their priorities.
Is it possible to meet ladyboys in Angeles City? Yes, it is possible to meet and it's very easy. While there are no shemale bars on Fields Avenue, yet, there are plenty of ladyboys working the street. Those petite and tall creatures walking the street between Phillies pub and Margarita station asking by-passers questions like "can I come with you? I want to make you happy?" are Filipino ladyboys. The later it gets the more of them walk around in flip flops or high heels. Another way to meet shemales in Angeles is to go inside the bars and ask to meet their make-up artists. They are called 'PA girls' or 'parlor girls'. Make-up artists will feel very charmed by being asked out. Tell them how beautiful they are and how lucky it is to be together with them and they will be very enthusiastic.
The bar known as Lancelot started out as Volcano in 2000. It was the second club opened by German-managed Champagne group and ever since stays it's ground in the center of all action. Right on the corner of A. Santos Street and Fields Avenue Lancelot opens it's door around 6 pm every night and keeps them open until at least 3 am or longer. Waitress Jenny (formerly Bananitas) is their main attraction. The Visayan beauty queen is one of the most beautiful woman of Angeles City. Nice interior decoration - similar to sister bar Camelot on the other end of the strip.
One of the longest running clubs on Fields. While other bars have come and were gone, La Bamba is still existing. Situated between Rhapsody and Ziggys it's used to be a vampire nest during it's first years, but it has calmed down to a more quiet place. A vampire bar is a place where bargirls and staff look for fresh newbies, guys who are on their maiden visit to Angeles City to make them pay for as many drinks and other gifts as possible. Anybody remember their favorite doll "Bambi"? She was hot back in the days. She is still working the bar in Forbidden City (or whatever the place is called, now).
Flashback: Just wanted to throw in an older photo of Eager Beaver Bar. Many moons ago there used to be a guy standing infront of this establishment. He had black, greyish, curly hair and was insulting every bypasser who would not enter eager Beaver. He was choking every person who resisted his "buy one get one free" happy hour sales call until they gave in and entered his bar. If memory serves me right his name was Johnny Tango. The American managed many other bars in Sincity. Free drinks were on him and he could talk and talk and talk (about how smart he was and how stupid his girlfriend was).
Red-light districts are always under scrutiny when it comes to spread of various diseases. Neutral observers might ask why HIV testing would be an issue since common sense would dictate safe sex practices among bargirls and customers. Well, just think about it and draw your own conclusions. Self-test-kits for HIV were sold in Fields Avenue from time to time by street vendors. They are not much cheaper than professional medical testing by hospitals and clinics. Probably, just a business idea to make a quick buck from tourists who want to be "safe". Guys, use a rubber :-) Those tests are worthless if not conducted in a professional manner and in sterile environment.
Previously named Bananitas, Typhoon bar is easy to find. It's just opposite of Mo's Place aka Kokomos and Rhapsody bar. Typhoon opens early in the afternoon. I believe it start operation around 3pm, but I haven't visited AC in more than a year. Please, let me know if anything has changed. It's probably best to visit between 6 pm and 9pm as dancers from both shifts are present providing a solidly filled dance floor. If you care to look at chubby tomboys, Typhoon bar is perfect place to visit. Most girls are average lookers, kind and warm hearted.
Our Balibago photo blog has had various technical problems over the past two months. Please, accept my sincere apologies. BTW, my name is Greg. After changing to new webspace and upgrading the backend we were just too stupid to find a solution that was very simple, actually. It prevented photos from displaying properly. When I found out how simple the solution was, I had to go down to my local BDSM club to receive an appropriate spanking session. Hey, isn't that a spiffy business idea for a nightclub? BDSM in Angeles? I bet a lot of people wish for some waxing or hard spanking by a sexy Filipino nurse from time to time. Or do you guys get that at home when your honey ko get's overly jealous for no reason?
It was introduced as the first bar with 24 hour operations. The Dollhouse survived many raids by law enforcement and they are still open. This speaks for a very solid and reasonable business model as most other bars need to close down shop (see Coyotee Ugly). Dollhouse Angeles was the first bar to introduce models and spotlight dancers with more expensive bargirls than ordinary bargirls. It's a business model that became well established inside Angeles City bars. Spotlight dancers are charged twice the barfine as waitresses to be released from work before their shift ends. It's unkown if barfines are still called barfines or if they might have changed.
Yes, their bargirls were rather ugly and maybe the bar deserved to be closed. If you care: the bar is for sale (as many other bars including Golden Nile). If you ever dreamed about buying and owning a bar this might be your opportunity to invest your life savings (like the previous owner). All other bars in this location has a similar fate. Well, Coyotee Ugly is closed for good at this time.
Very popular happy hour and late stop. It's cheap with dancing stage right infront of the few seats that are available. D'Club Angeles City is all about the proximity to sweating bargirls and the intimate feel of having them dance right before your lap. Of course patrons may also opt looking into mirrors to observe panty fit from behind. There is another seating area close to the bar and the restrooms are not the worst in town, either (but pretty close).
